Hometown Jihad: Citizen Salah Sultan

My newest article, Hometown Jihad: Our Newest Citizen?, is headlining this morning at FrontPage Magazine. Follow the links to my previous articles on this topic, Hometown Jihad, the initial exposé published back in April, and Hometown Jihad: Blowback, which came out in late May.

The newest revelation is that Salah Sultan, the individual who has been the subject of these articles that lives here in my hometown of Hilliard, Ohio, is set to get his US citizenship within the next few weeks. This despite extensive connections and close relationships to terrorists, terror sympathizers, apologists and financiers. He is also the protégé of HAMAS spiritual leader Sheikh Yousef Qaradawi, who the Anti-Defamation League has characterized as the "Theologian of Terror".

For those who have asked me what can be done to prevent Salah Sultan from receiving US citizenship, my suggestion would be to contact Rep. Deborah Pryce , our local congressional representativewho is looking into the matter (be sure to be polite), and Ohio Senator Mike DeWine, who is in a tight race for re-election. Also be sure to contact your own Congressman and Senators. They are the only people who can apply the pressure to the idiots at the USCIS to put the kabosh on this deal.

I'll be sure to post any updates as I receive them.

I found your blog via frontpagemag. Thank you for pursuing this story.

This situation sounds perfect for O'Reilly to cover. I know he can be really annoying, but he was good on Sammy al Arian and on immigration in general.

This whole immigration/citizenship issue is so disturbing. How many new citizens are there out there who have not received the press that Sultan has, but whose cultural and religious beliefs demand the destruction of our civilization?

I keep hearing about how much better we are at assimilating Muslims than the Brits, but that provides cold comfort. How do you assimilate people who live completely segregated lives and want to conquer us?

Thanks to the propagandists for multi-culturalism, the enemy are at the gates and we have a welcome mat out for them.

Redhand,

As someone familiar with immigration procedures, maybe you can explain to me why women who wear full Hijabs, with only their eyes showing, are in this country (I'm particularly thinking of Dearborn, Michigan).

Clearly they and their family members have no intention of assimilating, and have no love or admiration of our country's culture, traditions or values.

Why do we admit people whose ideology runs contrary to our principles of liberty and human rights?

Is it unreasonable to have an expectation that immigrants be eager to embrace our principles?

Redhand,

"But to suggest that the simple filing of an application means he's on some kind of autopilot track to get it is misleading nonsense."

"autopilot"? I respond to real arguments, not straw men. I made nothing remotely close to this claim. As to the present status of Sultan's application, that was information I received directly from a government source outside of USCIS, not something off their website. Perhaps YOU might want to try better sourcing your comments.

Patrick,

I emailed Deborah Pryce's (R-OH) office and receved a stock answer. At least she knows someone else is concerned in Central Ohio. I am in her district and she was a law school classmate. that means nothing, I suppose.

She is in an unusually tight race for reelection, which explains the over-touchiness to your comments in the article. She is in trouble, I think, because of the Republican Congressional overspending.
